I've never really tried to do blackout poetry before this, and I noticed how much of one's own personality and virtues comes through in how they choose to tackle the project. But also, the original intent and content of the text chosen comes through, too, and the text chosen to blackout by the artist AGAIN is a reflection of the artist.
You chose a page on Japanese printmaking (a passion of mine!) and the finished poem came out sounding like a translated poem from Japan. Brilliant!

Comment: The post office did not know what to do with this lol....it arrived completely mangled, in one of those "We Care" plastic damage bags, with one of the stamps torn off, and part of the bone charm missing. They infuse new meaning into the word "durable"...it looks like they tried to process it like a letter, and the tag got caught in the machine. ...lol just sharpie an address onto a tennis ball...I'd like to see them screw that up. :/

Response: First of all, pre-pasting the envelopes was not a part of the swap requirement. All of my envelopes were very well made, eco-friendly, and sent with your color preferences in mind. As for you issues with the profile surprise aspect, I guess I must have misunderstood what " * embroidered anything *" meant under your THINGS I LOVE section. Most people would interpret that to mean anything that was embroidered. My bad. And I’m not exactly impressed with your attitude, so I guess we’re even.

Response: I know! I just realized that this morning when one of my envies for the swap came in and I'm terribly sorry. For some reason I figured 6x9 was the standard business envie size. I would never intentionally ignore the rules of a swap and would be happy to re-send. As for the tea, I didn't see that as being a problem, but sorry for that as well. However, your response was very negative. People make mistakes and your response WAS cruel. I’m sorry that we can’t all be perfect. Believe it or not I did take my time to consider what I put in that envelope. I wish you had focused on what I did send instead of what size the envelope was. As for the tea bag complaint? That was just petty and perhaps you should have a cup if you’re being this rude over a small slip up. I thought swap bot was about sharing and receiving things you enjoy, not looking for excuses to tear people down. You could have easily messaged me to see if I was aware of the mistake or instead of being nasty about it. Clearly you are 'like that.' Out of my 43 swaps that the first mistake I've ever made and I don't think it's a big deal. It was a mistake and I'm sure you've made some yourself at some point. As for the stuffed comment? I didn't know there was a measurement for what that meant. I hope you can learn to relax a bit and not take things so seriously. #tigerblood, #WINNING
