On Oct 7th you messaged me again to tell me you had found the old swap and would send it ASAP. I still haven't received anything. If I do receive it, I'll be happy to give you a 3, because you've been nothing but polite, but I have to follow Swapbot rules. :/

Comment: I really hate to do this, because I think you are a lovely person and I did enjoy the letter... but I want to follow SB's rules. The swap was due Sep 15th, but not sent until Sep 30th. I did not hear from you until I messaged you about it on Sep 23rd. I did accept the explanation you gave, and would have been fine with it if you had resent promptly, but two extra weeks (and a total of six weeks from the Sign-up date to the postmarked date) for this kind of swap is a long time.
Response: I won't make excuses. I have been way behind on my swaps, and while its very unlike me, it's still not fair to you. And Im very sorry about it. If you are my partner in a future swap I hope I can show you the kind of partner I usually am.
To other swappers seeing this rating: yup, I deserve it. I started too many swaps too close together, then my work got very stressful. (My client was being diagnosed with an injury that nearly cost her a leg and I had to be with her at all of her appointments. We saved the leg!) Also I lost my first letter and it slipped my mind to resend.
I'm not usually this flakey, but I had a 'perfect storm" of crap landing. Amber was a gracious partner in every reasonable way during this.
