Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I am in love with the stamp you used! Also, a little secret about partner dancing - you don't need a set partner to do it! (I've never had one in 20+ years) because in social (partner) dancing, you don't end up dancing with the same person over and over again.

Comment: Many thanks for the Awesome Grindelwald postcard!! Grindelwald is one of my favorite towns!! Spent a week there one summer. Made friends with the postmaster and he gave us places to go see away from all the touristy places. Had a blast!!

Comment: Vielen Dank für deine schöne Karte :) Ich habe auch die Mund- und Füßmalende-Karten verwendet. Ich habe eigentlich schon früher im Jahr einige Karten gekauft, weil ich sie unterstützen wollte. Mir geht es ähnlich wie dir, dass Weihnachten mit den Weihnachtsmarkte beginnt. Wir bekommen auch nicht viel Schnee, aber wir werden in den Wald fahren, um einen schönen Spaziergang zu machen. Danke auch für das Washitape!

Response: Hallo Carola, vielen lieben Dank für deine liebe Nachricht, das Herz und das nette Angebot mit dem privaten Tausch - das habe ich zwar noch nie gemacht, aber es würde mich auf jeden Fall sehr interessieren :-) Durch Köfering fahre ich zur Zeit meistens, wenn ich nach Regensburg fahre :-) Aber direkt auskennen tu mich mich dort leider nicht. Ich sehe nur, dass es jetzt dort viele neue Häuser gibt, die zu meiner Studentenzeit noch nicht dort waren (aber das ist auch schon wieder 15 Jahre her :-)) Und seit ich nicht mehr studiere, komme ich leider viel zu selten nach Regensburg... Ich wünsche dir alles Gute und sende herzliche Grüße aus dem herbstlichen, sehr regnerischen Niederbayern :-)

I was just checking to make sure I got this rasting done and noticed I wrote"sushi" trees which would have been quite interesting, instead of "WASHI" Trees. I bet you had a chuckle over that!) To answer your question, in Oregon it snows mostly at higher elevations (in the mountain ranges) Our location is "the city floor" so no snow where I live...yet. It could happen! Comment: Thanks for the lovely PC and your note. The envelope is not an issue with me. I live about 9km from the Atlantic and there are at least four good beaches within a 20 minute drive. I don't swim much in it as it is too cold here. We do not have pretty shells either.

Response: I'm only on the first half of the first one - luckily, I have still got 3 weeks until they need to be finished:-) Oh yes, the ones on the postcard look so warm and cozy. I haven't tried cable-knit patterns yet though I've always wanted to. But it looks a bit difficult...

Comment: Beautiful postcard! I do love sewing on my front porch and use a treadle sewing machine that is over 100 years old. I don't think its ever too late to learn to sew. I never made clothes, but do repair clothes, or sometimes alter them to make them fit a little better. But I like to make quilts. Its a fun and useful hobby.
