I very seldom get ATCs from artists doing the whole ATC by hand drawing and painting - so it really means a lot to me. That's what I do too. Anytime you want to do private ATC swaps, just make one for us and I will gladly participate. Love your work! Welllll actually this swap was almost a private one, since you and I are the only ones in the swap. i don't understand why, sad for you. Please keep hosting swaps though :-) Also thank you for the extras. Love the little animal cards - reading about the animals was a learning experience.

I am enamored by your style too. I remember getting an ATC from you quite awhile ago, and to this day it remains one of my favorite ATCs. It was a mouse on wheat. And thank you for all the wonderful extras. Very "me"! And I HAVE to know - did you do the artwork for the mushroom notecard and the "hybrid crab"? They look like you did and then had them printed. Comment: This ATC made me instantly smile. I LOVED the little mouse on the corn. So precious. And adding the design on the back of the card was extra special. And extra, extra special was the watercolor notecard that you made. And then - the other extras were fun too. I had a hard time figuring out what that photo was of for awhile - then I finally saw it. My husband gave up and I had to tell him. He was like "Ahhhhh!" Clever!

Comment: Steff, my apologies for the late rating; this swap ended up in my 'keeper' stack before it got rated. Your photos are so impressive! The one with the stone is really nice with the closeup of your hand and the stone against the blue background of sea and sky, and the clouds in white really set it all off!!! Definitely a photo for my 'keeper' collection! The black and white photo with the wounded sentinel looked so authentic that it could have been from a journalists coverage of a battle conflict. I loved the way it was composed, with the back of the person tending the wounds and a partial view of another person in the foreground! Another 'keeper'! I hope we get to swap with each other again in the future! Your work is great! PS - Thank you for the descriptions that you included on the backs of the photos of the circumstance when you took the photos. That was a wonderful extra to include!!

I walked the West Highland Way a number of years ago and it was a great experience. The Pedders Way looks flatter -- but the coastal bits will probably be quite challenging!

It looks like maybe a fudenosuke for the black? It’s stunning. I wish I had that kind of control. You must be killer with hand lettering! And thank you for the ATC backs, that was very kind. ❤️
Response: I use a faber castell pitt pen, they are not cheap (I recommend getting the pack of four with small-bold sized nibs its very good value) but they are worth every penny. They are also indian ink which does not bleed into colours when you paint over it.

Response: I am so glad you liked them. I have to confess I had hurriedly put things together, having sewn them with plenty of time. Gotten distracted by something and put the leaves to one side, believing in my heart of hearts they were all finished and done. Then came deadline day and I was like AHHHH! Oh noes! But everything worked out in the end, for this I am glad. I was vry worried you wouldnt like the soap and I tried to make the package something you would like.

Response: I was worried I had not put enough in there for you. The papers are something my mother gave me a big pile of. I use them for pretty much everything these days, but she gave me so many, I figured I would share. I am very happy you liked the two ATC's though, I used to have a teacher who liked Hedgehogs, thus they are one of the first things I was ever taught to draw.

Response: Oddly. I asked the lady at the post office for them. Gosh it looked like she was sucking a lemon too when I did. She had to get out of her chair and get a different book -folds her arms and grumbles- I am very happy you liked them though. Makes it all the more worth while asking. As my mother aways said. Comment: For your first swap, this was AWESOME!! I'd recommend only one thing: if you're sending candy, send it either in it's original package or in a plastic baggie. The gum didn't fair so well with my State's heat... :( Everything else was wonderful though! I'm using the rats and bats on the porch for my Halloween decorations--they're perfect! And your ATCs, how cute! (my favourite is the kitty with the broom) and the tea! Yes! I'll swap with you again anytime dearie! blessings, Gypsy
