Response: let me know when is good for you , and we'll arrange something for then! x
Response: Clinton 's cards in the sale last year... The kind that come in a red box and 10 for £3 at full price
Response: no worries! Options isn't the cheapest (I buy them on offer) but they are one of the best we have here! If you ever want a swap for more sachets of them, other flavours or a jar of it, let me know!
Response: I think the mushroom stickers were from some alice in wonderland theme stickers I got sent from a wishlist tag by a US based swapper so I can't get more of those. the hummingbird card was from Paperchase, but they don't do that one any more. (they do blank greetings cards, which is what that one was) :)
Response: so glad everything got there ok, hope you put the chocolate in the fridge 1st before you try to eat it as they seem to melt in transit these days!
Response: hope he's not opened it yet! tried to make it clear what it was without giving it away to nosy postal staff! wishing him has a good birthday :)
Response: glad you're happy with what I picked, I went over budget as I was aiming to make sure there would be at least one thing you'd enjoy as my tastes are different to yours! looking forward to seeing what you picked out for me!
Response: Oh dear... They would have needed to go in the fridge for a bit, that would have helped them go back to normal.. Hope the pudding mix and hot chocolate are still ok for you guys to try.
Response: hope you liked them!
Response: if you get stuck, give me a shout! some people when ironing the plastic bags will layer them up so two are getting done together, or have one and cut a picture from another. was a bit stuck on how to explain a square/ straight C shape cut though for the flap.
Response: well I thought it worth giving a tiny blurb about the type of book it was...would make the page easy to understand...I'm still reading it now, not long til i'll be finished though! I love paperchase stationery (what I used) thought it made the swaps look nice!
Response: yay! glad you liked it and it got there ok, I wanted all the tuck-ins to be usable so it's not only a book, but also has postal supplies, bits you can share with your partner and some fun hand made bits too. I don't think I'd make another one for a while though as I dragged it out long enough! <3 you xx
Response: I've seen it twice on stage too! still a classic!
Response: well I thought the notecards seemed fair for the postcards, but as I was trying to shrink down my stash, I thought why not put some of that in too!
Response: some of the cats were pets of people I know, a couple I'd read about, but the rest were mine. (wilf, socks, tiny, furby, Tabitha, keema were mine. I also had Spike but he's not in the main poem) they're no longer with us though.
Response: I got them last year in the sales to put away for this year, and a few places have them again this year (slightly different designs but pretty much the same)
Response: thank you for rating! hope you enjoy what I sent :)
Response: Thank you for acknowledging my comment and rating me.... I hope you did like the card.
Response: hope you like what I sent, thanks for letting me know it's arrived now! x
Response: where's the love heart then? lol
Response: glad it got there ok! i know the bags will be crumpled, but should still be good. enjoy =^.^=
Response: Erm, I've been here for 8 months and sent to you twice before now... think you got me mixed up as a newbie x
Response: glad they got there ok, i thought you might enjoy the extra bars even thought they weren't quite what you asked for...but still same brand :)
Response: I didn't realise it was your birthday so soon, I would have sent a card for it. X happy birthday x
Response: Yup, that's my artwork.
Response: I'm happy its all there now, I wouldn't leave it too long before you start eating the snacks though, as I think one was dated for end of jun / july. nothing worse than saving swap treats and then finding they're out of date. I ate all my sweets now and want some more! :) so yummy! :)
Response: not heard of that song, will have to go take a look. Glad you liked the list, I seem to be getting you a few times lately! :)
Response: glad you liked it, I know the sewing on the tote isn't the best, but still 'useable' /quirky! The stickers and postcard were from paperchase (my favourite stationary shop...not the cheapest of places but lots of lovely stuff!)
Response: was worried the soap may crush / melt a bit in transit. hope it got there in one piece!
Response: I couldn't make anything else in the end and here in UK we don't have any merchandise. :/
Response: that's good. I thought a plain one would be nice as then you could customise it. am just waiting to see what I got for mine. x
Response: glad you liked! the 'letters' he stole was actually part of my name in written in Japanese.
Response: Glad you liked it! Hope he was worth the wait!
Response: ok. :D glad you're happy with what I sent. I found a couple of places selling the bags of Hama beads, but the toy shop near my work is the cheapest but smallest choice. I did see neon, pastels and uv/glow in the dark, and metallics. so if we do this again, I can send one of those next time.
Response: glad you liked what I sent, I usually try for a mix of older left-over items and at least one new item for my de-stash style swaps. kinda balances it out!
Response: ok, cool! was worried it hadn't turned up, hope you enjoy the dvd, can cross it off your list now!
Response: glad you liked! yours from the tag hasn't arrived yet, probably lost in transit some where! hopefully it'll be here soon!
Response: I still don't make great atc's myself, but once I cut a piece of card to size, I could see that really they're more like collaged and painted canvas art in a very tiny scale. Hope you can make something nice from what I sent. I got flaked on mine :(
Response: so glad it's there now! was starting to worry it had gotten lost! (and just in time for easter crafts too!) x
Response: Happy you enjoyed it, I think I did go a little nuts with it! Am just waiting for mine to come now. You'll have everything you need now to do dome awesome letters!
Response: Glad you liked them. Sounds like the day late posting didn't delay it at all!
Response: To me, scrapbooking is a combination of art and found images/backgrounds. You could keep the letter a plain or decorate it, the tissue paper being aqua coloured would be for your background. You could use the wire to create a shape related to the letter, and you would have Apple and aeroplane buttons to decorate with. You could also draw things related to the letter on the tissue paper. I've been waiting quite a while for your rating, if you had said something sooner u could have sent more items in a 2nd package. Also if you look at the description for part 2 it says you can add to what you received in part 1, I had written that way back in the beggining so if anybody was disappointed, they can add their own items. What I got sent was a little limiting too, don't know what your package that you sent out was like, so I imagine that all 3 of us are in the same boat. Our pages will be a real test if our skills as artisans as to what we can do. Should relish the challenge, not let it hinder you.
Response: thanks! i had a box of coloured fineliners i got from tesco for a fiver so was about time i put them to use!
have found more people like to whinge about swaps on here than actually take part in them! well pooh poo on them! they missed out :) i also sent it from the post office, just to be extra naughty! :)
Response: I like to be prompt where I can, makes for easier swaps! Am just waiting for mine to come now.
Response: Glad you liked :)
Response: i can e-mail the page i made to you so you can print it at home so you'll have a less creased page for your scrap book. glad you liked!
Response: glad you liked, I had to have a good rummage through my collection to find something to match!
