Out here in the desert, you can grow cacti... and sage... and peppers LOL I tried tomatoes 2 years ago and maybe got 4 and that's pretty sad for a tomato plant. I don't have a fantastic green thumb as it is but while desert foliage can be pretty, it's kinda boring to try and grow.

But I've done some that I use over and over again. It's really really fun to do... a very Zen thing to crank up the music and just carve. You should try it.

Comment: I lived in CO for 2 years, just moved to WA a few months back, we did take the time to drive and ride that train, THAT IS THE BEST train ride in AMERICA!!! and the food they serve on there, YUMMMY!!! was one of our favorite day trips!!! congrats on the 5 years!!!

Response: I highly recommend Scotland! I stayed away from Glasgow and Edinburgh though because I prefer small cities and the outdoor perspective. Either way you go, you should have a great time! I hope you have good weather!
