Comment: Your ATC is absolutely beautiful. Truly. And it's funny because as soon as I opened it, I said, "DIATOM!" I loved looking at these in my bio classes in college (I was a biology major). They are so ethereal and beautiful and happen to be my favourite single celled organism just because of their beauty. So not only was this beautifully done, it was absolutely the most perfect cell I could have received. Thank you so much. xoxoxo
Response: : ). Have you seen the diatom art that some crazy people with a lot of free time make? I guess during the Victorian period the in thing was to have a microscope set up to look at diatoms and some people make them into flower and such. The museum of Juraasic technology in la has some really nice ones.

Comment: I Love the ATC! I actually love classic cars a lot! I go to a few thrift stores in North Park called Thrift trader, you get to trade you old stuff for their stuff. I also have a bunch in Chula Vista that I love, I make a day trip out of it.

Comment: I love the cards you made. Such cool and inspiring ideas too (: I've seen glue used in batik before but hadn't thought of using it on paper. The stitch you used around the sail boat stamp looks very rope like. I really love all the cards (: and thank you for the extra acetate one- I've not seen a clear card done like that before, it is really neat.

Response: Someone on here hosted a swap specifically for the pinwheels... and since then I have been making them obsessively... I have ~10-ish made and waiting to be put on something. I really like acetate : ) Stazon ink and permanent markers are what I use for the acetate cards. I would love to receive one : )

Response: The ink I use is Stazon, most inks don't stay. I use bic or sharpie permanante markers for the bits I colored.

Response: It is a pattern from 'Bead Romance: Elegant Beadweaving Designs' by Lisa Kan. I am super happy it is almost done, I just need to get the pearls for the center piece : ). Then i start the mothers necklaces... For which i need ~ 10 more crystals. At least my bridesmaides necklaces are done.

Response: I am glad you like it : ) There is a lady who hosts Mandala ATC on here, and she is (to my knowledge) the one who figured out how to make those. Since I've learned to make them I have gone a bit over board with them. I used 10 for this swap and I still have probably 15-20. I am glad you like the extras as well. Response: I have a pic of the wax seal before it was sent out on my instagram (linked above) so you can compare the difference. I haven't had any trouble with them. I know that they can make it to Canada, I haven't tried outside US and Canada. (I am thinking of, eventually, doing one of these swaps for one including a wax seal so I figured I would send out some to people likely to play with me so they would be able to : )

Response: Thank you for thinking my work looks as good as a sticker, but I did not use one. I did not draw the image, that is true. But I did photoshop out the tiny details that wouldn't show up at atc size, colored it by hand using color pencils, markers and inkpads, fussy cut it out, glued it on, and added the glitter. The background is simple because I wante the mermaid to stand out. That card did have time and effort out into it. You are welcome to not like it, art is subjective, but it is by no means close to a sticker slapped card.

Response: That one is from one of those kits where you get the stamp and then the correct die for it. Used with a Spellbinders. I have decent cutting skills, but not quite that good.

Comment: Thanks a lot for the stamps I'm sure i will find use for them and they already have a spot Iin my cling stamp binder and i love the fact you sent cling stamps as they take up so much less room and are easier to get out to use but i love wooden stamps as well but have found I've been mainly using my cling stamps because it's easier .Once my kids are grown and i have a craft room (my dream) it will be easier as crafts are taking over my living room and bedroom my fiance says I already have a craft house why do I need a room lol but I want a room just for my toys as God knows I have to much but keep buying and getting more to add to it .Happy holidays and I hope you have a great week enjoy
