Response: Oooh, your parents lived in Plymouth? My two closest friends live down there and I've maintained a lot of friendships and contacts. I was going to move back when I took voluntary exit from the Civil Service, but mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer three months before I finished, so that put the kibosh on my moving away. Maybe sometime in the future...xx
Response: I went dark Gothic with that page! I loved that charm as well. I've got a pin badge somewhere of a unicorn skull wearing a flower head dress. I'm a bit strange lol. Those tapestries are amazing. I'd love to see the real thing but they are in a museum in New York. I've also got three full journals. Perhaps we need another journal cover swap? Xx

Response: My friend is still unwell. Week six now. Really scary! I'm glad you like my stitching. I always try to keep a neat back. No idea why it smells nice. I've got an orange and bergamot reed diffuser in the room where I stitched, which is quite strong. Maybe that? Who knows! Xx

Response: I've got a set of Derwent Inktense pencils as well. Lovely to use but expensive. Castle Art are cheaper, but nice, soft "leads". It's so easy to rack up the bill on craft supplies. I've finished my journal cover, just needs a few tweaks. Baking cupcakes for dad's 90+ year old neighbour today. It's her birthday on Wednesday xx
