Comment: I have tried communicating about the swap. It was clicked sent on march 8th- which is a litttle late and normally I would not mind but I was not contacted to say it was sent late. It is now March 23rd and still nothing. I will rate differently if i ever receive anything and if I get some kind of communication. Its not the lateness or not receiving thats an issue its the total lack of communication with your partner that is very troubling . I work hard at getting my swaps out there and have good ratings and only wish in return to have the same. Again I will rate differently once i either hear or receive anything.

Comment: Over a month after the send date and I haven't received anything for this swap. I'm also still waiting for SunflowerMowse to send me copies of the receipts for the envelopes she wrote that she mailed and copies of the claims she wrote thar she filed with the postal service. With them, I can try to track mail from this end. Odd that nothing has arrived as I have never had any trouble with mail delivery of envelopes that were mailed to me.

Comment: I believe that I got a postcard from you. However there was no name on it, no info on what swap it was for, and it did not meet the swap guidelines in the least. I am assuming that you sent it to me for this swap tho as i don't see you as a partner in any of my other swaps. This swap however was for a store bought, touristy postcard from your area to be sent naked. What I received is a handmade postcard in an envelope, kind of the opposite of what was required. I appericate the effort and the card is nice, it just doesn't meet the guidelines, but since this is only a postcard swap I will still rate a 5 and hope that you pay closer attention in the future...

As far as tips go, I can't think of much to suggest. The only thing I can think of might not even apply. If you use quilt batting, you'd want make at least a coupla passes across the potholder with your machine through all of the layers to make sure that the batting doesn't shift in the wash. But it feels like you used something more substantial inside so I don't think you needed it.
I'm a huge fan of raw-edge applique, and the heart on heart design is fun. And we're in the process of putting up an orange backsplash in our kitchen so you picked a great color.
