Comment: Thank you for the letter and extra tuck-ins. I don't mind reading you rant. I'm definitely a ranter (autocorrect is telling me that's not a word) myself. It's so annoying when a supervisor won't do anything about a troublesome coworker. Does that make it the coworker's fault or the supervisor's? It makes you wonder. I'm glad you got out of that toxic situation. I think you are a saint for being able to provide nursing care for your mother-in-law and anyone else for that matter. I'm definitely not made out for that type of career.

Response: I'm glad you liked it! The only technique was to use really nice paper that I had accidentally printed something poorly onto (I think a super tiny calendar on the reverse?) -- anyways I think it was epson matte presentation paper, stamp ink finishes so nicely on it! <3

Comment: Love the ATC and the story! When I was 17 I had to drive my mom to work in the next "town" over. I was unfamiliar with the town and I got lost on my way back!! I went the total opposite direction of my home and I just kept driving because I didn't know what to do! Finally, I pulled over and found a pay phone to get directions! I had driven an hour south when it should have only taken me 15 minutes (north) to get home :)

Comment: Great photos! The eclipse interpretation of "broken and mended" is really poetic! Have you ever tried spaghetti squash instead of gluten free noodles? It's probably a lot cheaper and if you like veggies it's really tasty with spaghetti sauce and parmesan (so probably also meatballs.)

Comment: Stunned, impressive, meticulous, incredible. Your French knots are beyond words and after traveling nakey to Alaska are still tight, beautifully textured French knots. This has to be the absolutely best postcard I have EVER received and the first fabric one I have ever seen.

Did you make the crocheted hot pad and the quilted ones? Nice job on all! Also, I like that the quilting you did was geometrical / straight lines rather than curves, even hubby approved and he's a tough guy to please when it comes to handmade stuff, trust me. :-) Thanks again - I appreciated everything!

It was stuffed with things I love. The vintage craft books have some great ideas I want to try out. The handmade pot holder goes great in my kitchen & the doily will be perfect for my little girl's room we're redecorating in aqua, red & white. My daughter was extremely excited too with everything and promptly darted off with the vintage baby blanket. :-) The baby sweater is gorgeous and I can't wait to dress my new little one in it. The black purse has a fabulous shape and I'm looking forward to using it out some evening. Again, my utmost THANKS for a splendid swap. You made me smile & squeal with delight. :-)
