The meaning of the landmarks, the rock-like islands in the artwork, I know as a temple - holy site on largest rock - island & a "rope - bridge" leading to it from smaller rock. Comment: Thank you and Happy August to you! We don't have prairie dogs here. The last time we were 'out west' we were one of many tourists parked by the road watching prairie dogs. Quite comical!
Response: Many consider them pests here because they are so prevalent, even living on street boulevards. They are pretty much everywhere but I love watching them at the library. There are huge windows facing open landscape and they run around out there so cute. Thank you for the rating and heart!

Loved the photo of the Mom Mtn Lion "Grrr, we were here first!," & the Baby "Yea, Grrr, Grrr, Grrr!" Wow, Denver is "wild" like Florida, Mtn Lion near your house! I stay watchful around our local ponds, lakes, there I love watching the dragonflies, problem is large mosquitoes. Sit in my car & watch dragonflies dine on them on my front car hood. Comment: I've flown into and out of DIA a couple of times within a couple of years of it's opening and it certainly was different than the old airport (which I'd flown into and out of numerous times)!. Luckily my trips started and stopped there as I would not have wanted to try to make connections because it is (as you said) HUGE! It certainly is a very unique looking building - almost like some type of UFO :-) Thanks for the great PC - it brought back some wonderful memories for me.

And your story reminds me of my first ride in a small Cessna over the Grand Canyon. Only I was older than you are now and they put me in the front seat by the pilot and I got sick. On the way back I rode behind him with plenty of air and gave the video camera to my husband.

Comment: Your greatest fear is health?! Would that I had that problem! I kid, I kid. I'm chronically ill, so I'm assuming you meant something like 'bad health' or 'illness'. :) But maybe I'm wrong! Hehe. We both joined out of curiosity, yay! And I will tell you what I told my other partner who ran from a swarm of bees too: when they are swarming, they are SO mellow because they have eaten a lot and are basically moving house. So you could stand in the center of a swarm and they would just ignore you. :D
Response: It's hard with one word but specifically my child's health, I want her to always be healthy, going through some (hopefully) minor issues right now that have really made me stop and think about this seriously for the first time. Thank you for the heart!

Response: I'm not very outdoorsy and too lazy for hiking but I love boating and being on the water and so I think I could enjoy rafting. Thanks for the heart!

Response: Before moving here I never knew either! I thought it was all mountains and evergreens and rain but nope! We are actually in a semi arid steppe climate complete with massive amounts of tumbleweedsl LOL Thanks for the heart. :-)
