Comment: I really enjoyed your atc... and someone has seriously needs to tell me the secret to getting stamps off without the paper... THANKS YOU FOR THE USED STAMPS <3 I see these coming in handy ad being alot of fun
Response: I haven't tried to soak off the modern self adhesives. But if you have older stamps, say pre 1990, warm to hot water is fine. Separate those on white paper from manila or colored paper, and keep an eye on the ones on colored, watch for bleeding. You can swish them around. It's best to wait til they're off the paper but it's ok to carefully help them along. Try to get all the glue off the back or they'll stick to the blotter. I used either watercolor paper or paper towels and weighed them down with something heavy. Hope this helps and thx for the heart

Comment: I received your ATC today. It's gorgeous! I love the woven texture. And the handmade/imported paper is very cool! Thanks Lin Collette (rhodyart) for the extra little surprise you sent. How very thoughtful. This is only the 2nd swap I've received in swap-bot, and I never thought about something like this. I will have to start trying something similar.
Response: The woven texture is something I started trying out last year for another project that didn't go well. Recently I decided to try doing it on a smaller scale and it's easier. You really have to watch for evenness on the ends. I'm glad you liked it and the goodies and thanks for the heart

Response: Glad you like them. I think the stamps I sent that are used are all old, in the days when you licked stamps to put them on the envelope. So they were easily soaked off in water and dried on paper towels. These days it's almost impossible to do it neatly (though my mom in law seems to be able to do it).

Response: It really was a challenge but I enjoyed it. On the other hand, I must say that I use stuff from I bought from dollar tree a lot. As a good friend who's an OT attests, dollar stores can be the best sources for decent quality craft supplies at a low price, and I myself depend on dollar tree for the craft workshops I run. Anyway thank you so much for the rating and hesrt, and I'm glad you liked it
