I'm sorry to have to do this but it's been over a month since this swap was due to send.

Sent in 2012: I deserve this one but not for the reasons stated. I did not say I forgot. I said I forgot to message you. I have NOT forgot to send them. In fact the message I sent you specificially said that. So while I totally understand the 1 until it actually arrives, please at least put the correct info. Here is the exact message that I sent to her: "Oh Nicki I am so sorry...I didn't end up getting them sent that week and I totally forgot to message you. Completely my fault. This mess with CarlyJo has me getting behind on other swaps and that is NOT good...one is bad enough. I promise you I am getting it out to you ASAP. I completely understand if you want to rate me badly, I totally deserve it...this year has just been horrible, but I have luckily been getting caught up the last couple of weeks. I haven't forgotten you I promise, just didn't message you when I had more crap come up in RL. Comment: 4-17 Thank you for the first package I will be sure to come back and update this rating when the swap is finished. Our swap is well overdue but you are still signing up for new swaps. Why would you not work on this one and get it sent out then join as you please?
Less new swaps = more time to work on overdue swap. I did not say that if I did not get them in 3 days I would rate a one. I stated that Friday I will log in and rate a one, then when the swap arrives log in and rerate.
I mentioned a few times that I will log on to rerate, I think twice. I never stated "and never log back in". The fact that you saved a copy of the message will show that I never said that.
Sure the swap of 65 sticker packs that cost anywhere of 2-5$ in stores was easy to pack. Its not easy to sit here and feel like I handed away all that inventory. It was not easy to wait from January just to be told to wait a bit longer. I did indeed tell you to not send things in seperate times. It is a waste of your time (to the PO) and money. Especially since I thought in 5 days the entire package would be coming my way.
You have not been in continuous contact with me. You contacted me early this month, said a week longer and then that was it.

Will message her and hopefully work something out if she comes online again. ///// 2012 - Well I guess you decided to not wait 3 days. No problem. I'm glad I've saved all my messages. The one message earlier this month was not it. I've messaged you again since then, only to finally receive a response today. I never once said it would be headed your way in 5 days...so I'm not sure where you got that idea. I should have not joined any more swaps, you're right about that...hindsight. I won't join any new ones now till yours is done. I could have sent you most of the items several times, but you stated not to...so you could have had most of this swap already. In fact I'm going to go ahead and do exactly that, even though you've told me repeatedly not to worry about that. I do NOT flake on people, ever. And my ratings can attest to that. I'm sorry that you have been flaked on by several others and must feel like I'm just doing the same despite the fact I've offered to send what I have ready. I will update as soon as I send both packages. As I said in my message to you: You have to remember that your stuff you sent to me was very easy...pack it in an envie and send it out. I am hand knitting a 54 inch long item, plus several small things. I'm really really sorry for any misunderstandings on my part. For anyone who would like a copy of all the messages between us I'm happy to provide them. Perhaps I have missed something.
UPDATE APRIL 11th: First package sent today via priority mail with tracking & delivery confirmation. Still working on the rest, they are taking way too long and I'm so sorry about that. I would knit faster if I could!

Response: Thank you for the 5. I am so sorry that you did not like the bookmarks I sent you. The swap was senders choice, and specifically supposed to be done in our own technique, so I'm very sorry you don't like how I do mine. I actually spent quite a bit of time trying to knit a bookmark first, and that didn't work out so well, I couldn't keep them from curling. So I decided to go with my other technique, paper crafting. First I did a bunch of research on the internet trying to find different ideas for bookmarks. I then found a really cool site with those free vintage book marks and saw on your profile that you love vintage images, so decided I would include 3 (or was it 4?) bookmarks as extras above and beyond what was called for...just one. As I couldn't punch a hole in them without ruining the photos on front and back, I just laminated them for you. Then, I found a great idea for doing cut outs for bookmarks. I didn't want to copy exactly what they showed, so came up with my own pattern/stencils and used that. I saw you love soft pinks, so I found some pink cardstock and vintage lacey looking scrapbook paper (again what your profile says you like), traced the stencil on the bookmark, cut it out, inserted the patterned paper, then added the ink distressing to the edges...another technique I use a lot (requirement of swap used once more). After that I used a hole punch to mark a place for the yarn bits I added as extra frill. This did take time and thought, and I'm so sorry you don't like it. Please let me know what YOU want and like...I used what you said you like in your profile even though the swap doesn't call for it other than color...and you're still disappointed. I am very sorry. Tell me what YOU want and I"ll make you more bookmarks. I know the swap only calls for 1 bookmark. I sent 4 or 5. And I will send that many more if you just tell me what it is you actually want. Thank you :)

Comment: Adorable! I would never have guessed I'd see letters between Filch & Mrs. Norris, but you did a great job with them. I loved her "why do you not just talk to me?" at the beginning too-LOL! Their personalities and loyalty to each other (& their efforts to keep the students in the school in line) really come out nice and strong. And it's nice to know that 19 years from the end of the series, the two are still there (though as cats don't live quite that long, maybe this is Mrs. Norris #2?) Thanks for the letters & stickers!

Response: I'm sorry I don't understand...I used really high quality scrapbooking papers to decorate the journal book, and great quality cardstock on the pages. I spent a lot of time making that and thought it was quite beautiful. I'm so sorry you don't like it :( Did I not follow swap instructions somehow? Thank you for the 5 though. Oh, and I checked the send date...because I thought maybe I had messed something up for you. But as it turns out I sent this journal to you a couple of weeks early, the send date has been changed to March 25th. So technically my journal I sent to you shouldn't go out again till swap #8. Hope that helps!

The fingerless mittens are big but I love them cause I like looking like a purple pawed monster (rarrr..hehe). I was especially excited about the CD and the giant box of bottlecap candy (yumyum).
