Felt my life in many respects was very stifled and confined, there were somethings I couldn't change but eating choices was one ... & I guess it was just time for me. I still eat veggie at times just not exclusively. Thanks for a very nice swap!

Comment: Love your pc! I don't do much "steampunk" collecting but LOVE the artwork by other enthusiests. It's kinda funny, I was just in Colorado over the weekend. And yes, my town is like a tiny speck. I didn't know there was a 3 corners, (i guess i should look at a map more often) I kinda wanna go visit now! All the stamps on the card are awesome! my PO only has the boring apple ones right now :(
Response: Oooh, hope we were good hosts on your visit, hehe! :) Yes, 3 corners is up there, alright! I imagine you have to have GPS/cell phone map to find it, though, as it's on this random dirt road. It does have a marker and stuff at the actual site, though, and the Arikaree River Breaks nearby is quite pretty! Awww, I always order my stamps from the USPS website or I order vintage ones from this online stamp dude who sells them at face value! I hope you can break the confines of the apple stamps *grin* Take care!

I am still recovering from my hospital stay and surgery that I had a few days ago now. It's been a rough thing to deal with but I'll be happy when I'm all healed up from it. You are right I didn't do anything for the 4th but I did get to go outside to watch the neighbors for a few minutes. Today is one of the first days I've been able to sit up more and do more during the day so I guess my recovery is going well. Now I get to be in the club of not having a gallbladder also! (I saw that on your profile :D ) Anyways I like the papers you put in the envelope for me and I actually really love peacocks. I'm love random pieces of papers like those to write on for letters because I get bored of them always being the same ones. I was a bit bummed that I accidentally tore the big tag piece. It was totally my fault I was just so excited to open the envelope apparently. Luckily it wasn't too bad so I'll still be using it! Thanks again for the mail and well wishes :)

Nope, I was good with the fires (in city of 2.5 million people), but the biggest one was only about 30 mins or less from here! Comment: Thanks for the card! As far as any weird aspects of living this far north, the most obvious is the really short days in the winter and really long days in the summer. Though we always do have some light and some dark unlike the 'really' far north. And our summers are a little short sadly.

I can't say there are bad places I've gone to but maybe I'll say I had a bad experience during our stop-over in Chicago because our flights kept on getting cancelled and we had to stay overnight at a Days Hotel nearby!

Comment: WOW! UPS just pulled off. The return addy from Amazon says "Amazon Fullfillment Services" so I'm thinking, hmmm...they mustve screwed up an old order of mine from before. I pop it open and see washi tapes that I ADORE. I love them so much I've ordered them before...So then I'm having this dialogue back and forth with myself "They think they didn't send me this stuff before, but they did. Should I wrap it all up and send it back? If I don't, can they press charges if I don't pay for it?" Then I see the huge, beautiful bright yellow stencils and that finally prompted me to look at the paperwork included in the box. THANKS JULIE!!! This is one of the best received swaps ever! 3 Brand New rolls of tape that I love (it mustve took forever to find exact matches) and stencils I will be using before this 15 minute break is over with. You are WONDERFUL!

Comment: When I first read the swap description I had to look up what a crossed letter was. And that was probably the only thing I didn't want, haha. I love the letter! But wow, it's a challenge to read. (Brie is awesome!) I totally spent way too much time trying to piece it together by looking at the front before realizing that the back wasn't crossed and thus much easier. I'm so happy to have received a letter from someone who has so much in common with me ^_^ .... The crossed part is a bit hard but I haven't given up yet! Thanks a lot for a fun challenge.

Not only wonderful old stamps (especially that vintage clown), but a Moomin running across the envie! Wow! Love the pc itself too. Beekeeping is one of the things I still hope to master in this lifetime. Almost took a course last year, but went to Spain for a month instead. The market for travel articles has really shrunk in recent years, but newspapers are a good place to start. Good luck & go for it! Thanks again.

Comment: I LOVE the card! I LOVE the stamps that you used!!! :) If you are looking up my town, google Savannah. I live on the outside of it. Savannah is the most haunted city. I love it here! When I volunteer at BonAventure I tell the tourists that come in about the history of the cemetery. Ill be there this weekend too!! :) TY again for the card and stamp! :)

I am sorry she did that :( They do that to mine here, too, and apparently they even do it abroad nowadays as I got one from England with a whole plate block of fabulous Dr. Who stamps all sharpie'd out! Enjoyed your story, the postage stamps you used and love love love that you wrote "Don't write here or USPS will not be amused". In that section, they weren't, they out a white strip over the continental divide part on the front and ran a bar code over it. Hahahaha! Thanks for the fun pc. It's a keeper!
