Response: Glad you liked the card! And I'm envious that you got to see Suede--I never have. I was actually surprised when they started making records again how much I ended up liking their new stuff. Who'd have guessed they'd age so well? Definitely give them a listen if you get a chance.
Response: Hey! So glad you enjoyed the card. Those stamps are some of my favorites too--there are so many ways to get to 49 cents for these big cards. The Alcoholism stamp was part of a grab bag, and I figured when else will I want to use that. Don't know where the best bet would be for a Brandy Alexander (when I was there long ago, I could imagine the Ivar's location I went to having one), but I'm sure there are many Seattle bartenders up to the task!

Response: LOL--No worries, I always get more than my "swap's worth" from *one* Nnyla card! Too bad the USPS was so hard on Matilda--I liked that one. If I get to reading Dahl soon, it will be a case of being drawn in by the pictures, which is, I guess, the way it works with (younger) kids too. Happy weekend to you too!
Response: You're welcome! Well, I'm afraid biking weather is over for a while (at least for me)--we may finally get a little snow tomorrow.

Response: You're welcome--I'm glad you like it! The pen I normally use is a Uniball 207 "ultra micro" (0.38 mm). My pen ran out on your card, and I started a new one, so that's why the text gets darker :) It's interesting to me when the stamps can help to tell a story. My wife has had Bink for many years, so I'm just a "stepfather"; it's short for "Binkie," which is often a nickname for a child's pacifier, so I don't know how she got the name. Response: Thanks for the rating! Most of the silent films I've seen on the big screen in the last few years have been at the annual Capitolfest festival in Rome, New York, August of each year. Response: You're welcome! The chickens have been little work so far, maybe 15-20 minutes a day. There were 2 eggs this morning, one our biggest yet, 85 grams!
Response: Yay, glad you liked it! I see, though, that I'll have to get out of this "postcard with thematically matching stamp(s)" phase, or I'll drive myself crazy.
Response: Wow, you're so welcome! Reading the profiles is half the fun (well, in your case, maybe three-quarters (ha, ha!)). I enjoy the postcard swaps and am afraid if I try anything more elaborate, I may have to quit my day job.

Response: Glad you liked it! I used to refer to our band's music as "acoustic glam rock" but it was hard juggling schedules and most of us moved, so my illustrious musical career is on hold.
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad the stamps made it--I was afraid the postal service might be confused by so many on the envelope.
Response: That stamp definitely had your name on it--glad you liked it!
Response: Glad the card struck a chord. And thank you for the beautiful envelopes!
