I had to google Oregon on the map because I couldn't believe a palm tree would grow there...I live at about mid latitude of Oregon and no palms grow here but google said yes indeed there are "cold hardy" palm trees in Oregon...well I just learned something ha ha!

I smiled to see your last one about playgrounds -- I wish there were more parks nearby that had long-chained swing sets. There was a great little patch near my grad school apartment that had swings that were nestled under a tree branch you could tap with your toe if you swung high enough :) Whenever I was stressed out, I enjoyed going there just to think and soar. Comment: A little happy story that made this swap super special, when I got the mail I stuck it in my jacket pocket because I was running late for my daughter's Doctor' visit. Doctor's appointment did not go well and I was so upset, I just wanted to get out, we get in the car and my daughter starts crying because the doctor forgot to give her a sticker and she insisted we go back., that's the last thing I wanted to do! I was so happy to remember your envelope in my pocket and seeing stickers through the clear envie!! My daughter was super excited to have choices! She happily picked Winnie the Pooh!! Thank you for the napkin, stickers and most importantly the smiles!

Thanks for the awesome envelope you made ... looks like the map is from a Geography book or atlas. I also love the extras you included ... the bird pictures are great! Thank you! I am quite annoyed with the post person! Instead of hand cancelling the wonderful vintage stamps you used, someone took a ball point pen and scribbled on each of them. Can you believe how rude that is?? I am going to take the envelope to my post office and complain. Response: The worst! I love using the vintage stamps I think they deserve a chance to shine lol. But they can be a hassle, I get a lot more envelopes back with vintage stamps it like the post office doesn't know what to do with them.

Comment: I hate to tell you this, but everything had fallen out of the PL in the envelope. It would have helped if you had added a sturdy backing to the paper so it would have stayed in the pockets. You were also supposed to cover the backs and not leave them white. I appreciate that you wrapped each little gift, however, most of it was geared toward a child. I liked how you decorated the envie with Christmas tape, very festive. Thank you.
11/23-I r'cvd your envie with the pocket cards to use for the PL or ATCs. How super sweet of you! I' m adding a heart to the 5 because that was so thoughtful! Thank you.

Response: A friend of mine used the term 'making cookies' a couple years ago, it was the first time I had heard it and of course I immediately had to adopt the phrase!

Response: I don't always make real envies. Sometimes I just take what I am going to send and wrap it like a gift with whatever paper seems fun. Just be sure you have enough tape so it makes it through the postal system!

Comment: ♥ Both ACTs are fantastic ideas. I have put them in my ATC book. I did add a warning to the one pocket; "DANGER! POSSIBLE WET PAINT." just in case someone looking at it does not realize what it is. I expect it to be totally dry in, oh say, 4 years. I love it. Thanks.
