Comment: Fun take on your journal! I’ve been to Hawaii but not Alaska, but there is a *small* chance I’ll be going this summer. If you need any tips about the North Rast/Mid Atlantic on your next visit East, let me know! Boston is our favorite city and my daughter currently goes to college there, as you know there is so much more to NY than the city, lots to to in PA and even tiny little DE. I had to laugh when you said you had no recollection of being in Indiana because I always tell everybody my memory of Indiana is Chicken Pox 😂 We were visiting the children’s museum in Indianapolis when my cousin broke out with his first pox. His sister and I got our first pox a week later 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It was a box with a small journal and a stamp. Several people had added their unique stamp to the journal and I suppose they used the stamp in the box in their own journals. Comment: Hi Allison! Oh, how I loved your journal!!! You are such a talented and gifted writer! I loved your stories so much and learning about your life. I know I am so much older than you but we could still so be friends I think! So many of the things you wrote about resonated with me and I've been there done that and all the things! I am not religious, I don't like politics, pet peeves had me yelling YES! Me TOO! I was laughing at how your hubby eats all the sweets, mine does the same!!! I have creative ways to hide all the sweets!!! He will eventually root it out, I call him the El Raton (he told me this meant the rat in Spanish but I have not looked it up). LOL! I travel A LOT! I've been to Jamaica, Mexico, Germany, Holland, Dubai, Jordan, Ireland, Iraq, Lebanon, Bahamas, all over the U.S. and much more than I can even remember, I think I've been to most all the Caribbean.
I too want to go to Alaska and Hawaii and tons and tons more places. I've always been a traveler, I just love it! I hope you get to go home soon, I can see in your heart you need your family and your mountains! I'm that way with Texas, I've never left it and don't know how I'd survive without it! I love visiting your mountains though!!! Where you love snow, I love heat and floating the river! I have two kids and I also didn't want children until I did. I had them a bit late, age 28 and 31. They are all grown up now and on their own, I miss them being here SO MUCH! I know how you feel not working and being a stay at home mom, I did it for a while, I always worked too and it was foreign to me not to. I also felt like I was overburdened. Honestly I was, most moms are, we love so hard and see the world so differently. I was out of the work force for 3 years, I loved it and I hated it. It's just a season I'm here to tell you. I know you hear it all the time but enjoy those babies because that time does fly by. My son is a brain cancer survivor and his story (he was 14) and what we went through forever changed the way I see the mundane journey we live, I found out that the mundane every day life is the eden we all seek, and we just don't know it. Thank you again for sharing your life and your heart with me. It truly made me smile, I loved it so much! And all the postcards, they are beautiful!!!! Have a wonderful summer! Tell your hubby thank you for his service (and yours too!). He can't do it without you!! I work with many military members and I love them so much (Defense Contractor) Hugs hugs hugs! Comment: Technically you did stand up to the swap's requirements, but you could have definitely put a little more effort into the swap. Sending 3-4 individual cut out stickers and 4-5 small cutouts is a bit disappointing.
Response: I'm sorry you didn't like it. I couldn't send a huge envelope internationally because if money constraints. We had a lot of unexpected costs this month because we were hit by a hurricane.

I had a similar experience with a basement ghost. Only this ghost me,& more than once too. I happened to be pregnant w/ my 1st baby at the time too, in 1981. Lucky I didn't lose the baby, due to it pushing me down & all. It was horrifying! Thank you again! Oops, I forgot. Thank you for the Halloween stickers too. Love Halloween!

Comment: Thank you so much for your long chatty letter... I LOVED it!! Ben was my heart dog so I know EXACTLY what you mean. I don't know if I usedthe term in the letter... I remember hesitating over it because some people don't get it. I ENJOYED Jack more, and miss him dreadfully....and I think he was smarter and better trained and I loved him to bits... But Ben is my heart dog. A sweet sweet soul whose place can never really be filled. And I'm SO excited to hear about yoyr therapy dogs and the court idea... That was EXACTLY what I'd hoped to do with Jack, but he simply was taken a bit too soon for me to work on it. I'd LOVE to be able to train some dogs for CCI... Do you purchase a puppy and donate it? Do you foster their puppy? Let's do another swap and you can explain.
Also, what kind of journal swap are you hoping for? I do journal swaps and might be interested if it's something I feel like I can really put myself into, and figure out the time. (Edited: i gorgot to thank you for the doggy goodies... That little face looks like Ben!!)
Response: Let's do another swap for sure! I'm always up for it. As you can see, I can go on and on and on about dogs. Your letter was so much more creative.
Anyway, I was thinking a composition book that is used for art, journal, whatever you want that you fill out a page a day over like a month then send it to the other person. I've done those before and loved them.
