My housemate's grandkids LOVE shopkins, and I have such a soft spot for silly little valentine cards 💜 I absolutely love the message portion where you stamped everywhere, too, especially because the USPS folks decided to do the same, it seems. Response: If I recall correctly my cards were made with encaustic (artist waxes) so I sealed them with an acrylic varnish. Sometimes when I do not have varnish, I use Johnson's future wax :)

Response: So glad you liked it! I always read profiles.... the background are actually stickers, not washi. I used to find them at the dollar store, there were for color in your own stickers, but I left them black and white. I actually went to buy some more, and cannot find them. They were available when the craze for the adult coloring books was high.

Comment: I downloaded the Recolor app last year. I love it! I tried a Paint by Number app, but Recolor allows me to upload images to color, so it's the best app for me. I especially loved the image with the two girls and the one of the three dogs in a band! Thank you so much for sharing!

Response: Thank you! I used acrylics for the background, and used the technique of acrylic pouring, and then I added some die cuts and stamp elements. You can click on my fliker page and there is a picture before it was cut.

Response: Glad you e it! They are mainly for phones, or tablets, or laptops. They are supposed to help with the radiation that the phones emit.

Comment: Thank you for the lovely card. I love the color combination. So far this has been a hot year even before summer was officially here. I had a really quiet 4th. Neighbors set off lots of fireworks but actually mostly stopped by midnight like they were supposed to. I stayed in and watched fireworks and music on TV instead and stayed out of the heat and smoke from their fireworks.

You're absolutely right, I love the Day the Earth Stood Still :D It's my second favorite black and white science fiction film (the first being Metropolis, an old silent film by Fritz Lang -- that one's on Netflix if you've never seen it and have Netflix, can't recommend it highly enough). I also love the Texas PC... one of the things I remember from one of my training visits to Texas when I worked for American was the fields of Bluebonnets out in the countryside. Also, I'm sending you something in return for your trouble :)
