Comment: Hi Tonia and thank you for these two bright and colorful paper strip tags with focal point What a fun project this was and I love how both of your tags turned out. The turquoise one has a really wonderful background with the copper and gold and the pretty butterfly. And the red one has that sparkly lady's figure in here fancy dress atop a fun background of different coordinating papers and the machine stitching. Both are just really well done, and I thank you again so much for a great swap!

Response: Lol. Yes, this time I was trying to get mine to look as similar to the tutorial as possible because I was trying something out. However, after I got it all sealed up in the envelope I remembered that I didn’t put the tab on it…SMH. Most time it takes me a while to package everything just right so I didn’t want to open it up and have to do the packaging all over again. I’m glad you like it. Take care!

First off, where did you buy this red mulberry paper that you used on your journal cover? It's very pretty! I loved the junk journal style of your journal, it's also my type of style. I remember when my kids were in college, I knew when their final exams were, but it was always a hassle to buy their airplane tickets because they were broke college students, so I had to purchase it for them but they couldn't choose a date!! I love this paper you used - I think it's a "MY Mind's Eye" collection? I had a 6x6 pad of it that I have long used up. The touches of gold glitter are just the perfect "punch" for the whole project. You tucked fabulous goodies inside for me to find , and your little hand made note pad is so vintage-y and fun. This was such a fun project, and I am so pleased with what you made for me! I thought this was a really fun and different technique and what I love is that my two looked completely different than the ones in the tutorial and your two look completely different than mine. I love them all but my absolute favorite is the one created from a piece of sheet music accented with that watercolor-ish heart on the front--gorgeous! It was also very clever to lean the Tim Holtz boy against the desk--I had to look twice to see what you had done. Really wonderful swap; thank you so much!
Response: I'm glad that you like it. Sometimes I have one idea in mind but by the time i try implementing it and when I get to the end it has changed. Sometimes I start a project and have to put it aside for a few days and come back to it. It's all good though. I try to do something creative every day no matter how big or small to keep the juices flowing...lol. I do take a break but it has to be a planned break.😄🤗

The bottom coding from the po looks like it went threw twice and is all jumbled. I wonder if that was the cause. I am so sorry you had resend it because it now showed up. Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard and extras! Unfortunately, the post office had a field day with the envelope, which arrived pretty destroyed. The postcard is OK, thankfully; the extras are bent and messed up. Perhaps it's best to tape the back and sides of the envelope before mailing, as everything goes through the machine (whether marked nonmachinable or not).
Response: Oh No! I do apologize. Sometimes I do tape the envelope with clear packing tape but not always. I also believe it makes a difference depending on which Post Office I mail from. I have noticed lately the one that service my area has been a little slack lately especially since they have remodeled. I'll just make sure I tape up no matter what. Thanks!

Response: I do apologize for that. I really do try to make sure to check but I really didn’t have much of a choice. Otherwise I would have sent bags back to the person that started the bag. I didn’t want to start another bag because I already have a few out there that I’ve started in the first round and a few new ones since then because of the same reason...either the person I had already signed it or because I would have been sending to someone that started the bag. I believe Phenyx mentioned that there might be repeats depending on how many people sign up for it. I will send her a message because in this next round #5, I’m faced with the same issue again. I have you and her again and you both have had the bags before. One of them will be a homer. We’ll work through it.😁

Response: LOL, I think we all were a little stump by what the supply was. I sent a message thinking something was missing. After finding out that the banker coin envelope was the supply I got my brain a turning to come up with something creative. It was fun! I'm hoping to do another swap like that one again.

Response: Hi, now you have me in suspense. Lol. I will double check the next time to be sure. Most times I go on and take and add to and prepare the bags for the next round then just wait to see who to send to. For future reference, if I’m assigned to a partner who has already had the bag, do I just start a new bag and then wait to send the other bag in another round? This has happened to me in another Swap where I had received the same item twice. I guess that will have to be a question that I ask the coordinator whenever it occurs. Have a great evening! I can’t wait to see the envelope.

Response: Maybe because of the weather in certain areas. I believe I saw posted on the Postal service website that mail is delayed in certain areas due to all the snow and ice. So, maybe that's the case. I have been receiving mail late too.
