Response: It's unfortunate and sad, some of them may have been born with it in their blood if their mother was a druggy while pregnant. Another good one to give is gift cards to places like a coffee shop. $5 gift card goes a long way at a coffee shop.

The bunny one is too funny and cute, but the rattie one almost made me cry. It's our little Slumber, you have her cream-colored little self there. Thank you so much. That is the first ATC that will have to have a frame and be displayed on the wall. I love it and thank you so much for setting this swap up for us. At the dollarstore for $2 and it was brand fricken new, (did I mention that in my letter) I watched it once before sending it to you, to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with it but it was perfect (just like the copy I bought for $20). They also had Lord of the Rings and a bunch of other blockbuster I already bought for $20 and now they're at the dollar store for $2.

Response: Trust me I'd have to bring alot to make everyone not hate their job there, the place is a hellhole (at least it's better than a few years ago after the 'health and safety board' kicked their butts) At least I can say to myself "I'm only here a couple months" The people stuck there all the time can get so miserable.

Response: yeah it is weird someone told me they do that so they don't have to put you in the union. If you work 65 days they have to put you in the union so they just layoff/rehire people when they get too close to 65 so they have to start over on their 65 days to the union. It must be so annoying for the employees trying to get into the union, it's $6 more per hour plus benefits when you get into the union but then your stuck there for a long time (I don't wanna be stuck there)

Lol, Godzilla is basically a bunch of guys in rubber suits having a wrestling match with bad special effects tacked on so yeah stupid but can be amusing if you can get into it. Glad you liked Frighteners. Trying to do more dvd swaps but there doesn't seem to be many swappers who like to swap dvds.

Comment: Thanks for buying "new" food - unwanted, dented and expired stuff is appreciated but I think it feels better to the recipients when someone cares enough to buy food specifically for them. Good job! ... EDIT Your local food banks have higher standards than the ones in my area; they have big signs saying "we're not responsible ..." and distribute rotten, moldy perishables and boxed, canned goods expired by months and even years! I agree with you - a little bit stale is no biggie, that's a shame someone had to be so incredibly picky :(
Response: welcome. Dented and expired stuff actually ends up being throw in the garbage at the foodbank often times. They can get shut down if they accidentally gives someone food that makes them sick. People don't realize this and give expired can goods to the food bank but it can actually put them behind. Grocery stores are the worse for this because they'll send over truckloads of expired stuff (cheaper to donate then to send it to the dump). A couple weeks someone sent a complaint into the foodbank because they got stuff past the best before date (this annoyed me because while expired means it could be bad, best before date just means it's stale, and if someone gives you free food don't complain cause it's stale) So the food bank had to throw out a ton of food, all the cookies and crackers had to be thrown away so noone gets any cookies or crackers because some one was offended by FREE stale cookies (I've eaten the stale cookies at the foodbank and they were perfectly fine)

Comment: I'm deeply in love with the teas you picked out for me - especially how all of them have an oriental theme to them, like chai and ginger. Not to mention, you also gave me some peppermint tea! Oh, you shouldn't have. Out of all of them, I have to admit that my favorite packaging is on the Ashbys tea, though. I've never really seen that tea before, but love it. Here's hoping it tastes just as wonderful as it looks. Oh, and the rose and dandelion tea have amazing aromas to them. Response: yup, one of the swap partners said they like to colour so I figured I'd send all partners something to colour with the recipe. (except for the partner who said they liked photo they got a photo postcard) It is very good soup my father taught me the recipe shortly before his passing, it is much more healthier than canned chicken soup especially in the sodium department.
