Comment: Received it today - the knitted cover/ pocket book is a clever idea. Started reading it but it will take a while (I read while I eat lunch) Your handwriting is a challenge but I can't complain because my handwriting is REALLY a lot more difficult -- which I why I type everything I can. Must tell you in all my live and all the people I've met or even exchanges things on Swap-bot, I have never before come across a Luther -- That was my father's name!
Response: Am so glad you got the journal. When I got with Luther he a really wanted me to use his first name Paul. I liked Luther better plus it was what his family and close friends call him. Sorry my handwriting is crazy all over the place, It is much worse the older I get. All the journals I have done yours was the first one that got a cover for the book.

Comment: This must have been one of the bulgingest envelopes I've received yet. Karen, you must have spent WAAAY beyond the swap requirements to send so much stuff. Did you make the coasters? They are so sweet and cheerful coloured, and will fit my living room well (pale blue couch and beige walls) I've had a heck of a week so will definitely enjoy destressing in the tub. And oh yummy! Such sweet treat gingerbread stamps. And oh how kind. I love love love the faith, rejoice, hope, and other Christian themed stamps. There was more in the envie than that, but I guess you've picked up on the fact that I like it so I'll stop there!

I really liked the little tags and cards (some of which my mum stole off with - so sneaky!); but most of all, I was absolutely stoked with the Native American 'founding fathers' postcard (and totally agree with what it's about) - it's so easy for drawings to look kind of off or cheap but the ones on that postcard were so well done! I don't even collect postcards, but that beauty is going right up on my wall next to my Finnish and wolf ones (ok so I guess I do collect some.. lol). Thanks so much for that absolute gem! :D

The little gloss and glitter are ADORABLE (i'm a sucker for little things!), I have never tried purple mascara so I ran to the bathroom to try it on and it looks SOO cool!!! The little manicure set is SUPER cute! I already have big nail clippers and tweezers that stay in the bathroom so this is PERFECT to keep in my purse. I love the little girly case it comes in too. And the title of Dead Men Don't Crochet is definitely intriguing. I may not use the crochet patterns (arthritis is making that a little difficult) but I will try the recipes and the friend who gets books after I read them crochets a lot, so that is a double winner. I have half a mason jar full of vintage and a few baby food jars of colored and novelty. So this will be such a nice addition to what I have collected. If only my mother could find the lost cigar box of my grandmothers buttons grr! You can never ever have too many ;). Very kind of you to send striped fabric and tea as well! I love to use stripes for legs on dolls. Button fairies are a neat idea too show off those cool buttons and sometimes I chop off the back and glue them on things. I use them for dolls and crocheted things too. Other than that I just love to collect them and look at them lol! Thank you so much!

Comment: Thank you! You make nice FBs. The only suggestion I have is to use less pages in each (maybe 2-3), because they will never fill up, but you did write to send home by a certain date, which is really good. Hopefully you will get a couple back! :]
