Response: That's awful, I wonder how they managed that! I hope it's still salvageable. Thank you for the rating and the heart!
Response: They are real animals, native to Mexico and so critically endangered that they were labeled extinct, for a while. Their label has been updated to critically endangered. I'm not sure if this will show up here, but here is a link to the Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axolotl
Response: I'm glad you liked it, it was fun creating it!
Response: Weird, the PO just keeps getting more crazy by the day! Here's what it should have said: "Elizabeth Violet Hargreaves trotted down the stairs in her new blue dress, her blond hair neatly done up in curls & ribbons." "I dreamed about a little girl named Elizabeth." "What am I doing?" "Hatcher," she said. "We're home." Looking Glass by Christina Henry

Response: Isn't Mab Graves amazing?
Response: I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't know how to explain the difference between when I dropped this in the mail, on the due date & the time it was postmarked, but if there is anything I can do to make it up to you, let me know.
Response: I'm so glad you liked the drawing. I tried to draw something that I thought you might like :)
Response: My mother used to make liver and onions for my Dad and herself. My brother and I complained too much, so we got something else to eat. One time was more than enough for me!
Response: Thank you! The extra paper is vellum, it's just in different colors than you normally see.
Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you like it!
Response: Thank you, I'm so glad you liked everything!
Response: As a child, I would often order a hamburger patty for breakfast, when the restaurant wouldn't serve lunch yet. Everything I ordered would be a la carte.
Response: I will check it out!
Response: I'm glad you like it! Maybe the first one will show up someday, a little unexpected gift!
Response: Maybe it'll start a trend...
Response: As per my messages, I have not received the resend item from the seller I ordered it from. I can not control the mail. Also, I should not have had to resend in the first place. I do not know what "others" you spoke to, other than your roommates. I am sorry that you did not like what I sent, but that's not a reason for a 3. I hope you like the resend. I'm sorry you felt it necessary to go in this direction.
Response: Nobody likes mosquitoes!
Response: A lot of the boxes don't even look like boxes produce, of any kind, would come in!
Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. The fabrics are outdoor cotton upholstery fabrics, so they should be pretty sturdy. They're also machine washable.
Response: I'm glad I found the right person to send to :)
Response: Wow, it must have gone on some amazing & weird adventure!
Response: Thank you, I do like taking photos with unusual perspectives :) I can't take credit for making the cards, though. I had them printed by a company called Moo. They print my business cards, too, I really like the cards & papers they use.
Response: Oops, I'm sorry, I did forget! I'd say my favorite book at this point is still Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk.
Response: Thank you! I'm glad she found a good home :)
Response: Thank you for the empathy, understanding & random thoughts. I am sending the same for you :)
Response: Thank you! I love watching the sky, too. It can be so beautiful, even during a storm.
Response: Thank you! I haven't been doing wire wrapping for awhile. It was fun getting back to it & my stash of beads
Response: Thank you :) It was fun figuring out just how I wanted to make them
Response: Thank you! It's fun 're-learning' to draw after so many years of not drawing.
Response: I'm glad it finally arrived! Stamp carving is pretty fun, you should definitely try it!
Response: I glad it found a happy new home, thank you!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it :) I should probably use your idea of putting only a little cash in my pocket when going to a thrift store. I always end up spending too much!
Response: Glad you liked it!

Response: I'm glad you both liked it :-) I did it all by hand.
Response: I am so glad you liked it :-)
Response: I'm glad you liked them! I made sure to give the seller a good rating.
Response: I'm glad you liked it!
Response: I wouldn't mind going back there, I'm not sure the rest of my family feels the same though. I'm so glad you liked it!
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked them, they were fun to make & I thought I'd try something different :-)
Response: I'm glad you liked them
Response: Thank you, it was a fun card to make!
Response: Thank you for the 5 & the compliment. Sorry for the confusion, that was not my intention.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I was kind of nervous, as I have never created an ATC before.
Response: I'm glad you liked it :)
Response: Thank you! It's a good book for anyone who likes libraries/bookstores or even just likes the strange things people do & say :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. I've been trying to get away from squares & experiment with other things. I think it'll look great with your display! Thank you :)
Response: Thank you! I recieved the Doctor Who postcards in another swap & I love them, too :)
Response: Thank you! The weather always seems to be the same every time I do these 7 days zines. It was like that when I did the winter edition, too. It can't seem to make up its mind right now. It's trying to turn into fall/winter with intermittent days of summer in between...
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was a great hat when I saw it & I wanted to pass it on to someone who I thought would appreciate it. Thank you for the heart :)
Response: Thank you Sagebrushs, it was fun trying something new!
Response: It is! Some of the back pages had something between them, to keep them from sticking, but not all of them. I got the pages apart, when I had this journal, but just barely. I was hoping they would dry some more & stay apart, but they didn't. It's not a coating that I've ever used. Is it like oil paints, where it never really dries?
Response: I'm glad you like it! I went to buy the Paris themed wallet & it had been sold, so I bought this one :)
Response: These are pretty fun to make, I'm glad you liked it. I lined it with a floral print, because I saw how much you like flowers & I thought you might like the green background along with the green felt 'pages.'
Response: I AM NOT LYING! This is all completely unnecessary. I stated that I would resend. Period & I will, not that that's what you really want, you seem to want to catch someone in something & destroy them, no matter what. None of this can be remotely called 'amicable.' As to your other charges (& you seriously want to argue with someone, this is obvious from your own profile & the way you've attacked me, in public, now & in private): the vintage trims that I sent you were completely washed & dried before sending, the book pages were not moldy, NOTHING had a heavy scent of ANYTHING (since we're apparently shouting here), the template that I used for the envelope
was 4"X 6" the minimum requirement for the swap. The decorations followed the theme of vintage housewife. I love the envelope, it's too bad you didn't appreciate it. There is no requirement as to the number of decorations in the swap. There was no need for any 'confrontation,' you could have simply asked for a resend. As for what you believe or don't believe or what you think I was 'spinning' into a story, like I said before, you seem to want to argue. I was done arguing after your last message & said I would resend, I re-iterated this to the swap coordinator. So again, I DIDN'T LIE. I can't explain what the post office may or may not have told you, I only know what they've told me. I dropped this because I also do not wish to argue anymore. I do not have to explain to you or give you any private details of my life, nor do I have to post them here, in public. It's too bad you couldn't have resolved this 'amicably' as you said you would. Since it is now the 7th of August & the swap ended July 20, you said I sent late (apparently 2 days), add time for the mail to get there & then time for all these messages, it has not been 'almost 2 weeks' since I said I would resend. You are reading more into this than is there, but since you are, II feel I can too. I said I would resend, I didn't want to argue anymore, either. I didn't know you wanted an immediate resend. The coordinator did contact me to make sure that I was re-sending & I SAID I WOULD. PERIOD. If you look at my swaps, you will see that I had a number of swaps all at once (since you like thinking the worst of people & playing amateur detective). I also work & have lots of doctor's appointments (& that's not anyone's business). Next time, look up the word 'amicable' first, before you use it & stop acting like everything you've said is reasonble & that I completely unreasonable. Virtually everything I said to youu was calm & non-judgemental, virtually everything you've said is accuzational & you've even resorted to name calling, even while saying you've been 'amicable.' Apparently, you've been looking for someone to destroy & I've been nominated. With everything that's going on in the world, do we really need to waste time arguing like a couple of 6 year olds? I will resend, because I said I would & I AM NOT A LIAR. I doubt this will satisfy you, after a rant like yours, Probably wouldn't have anyway, but I said I would, today. Go ahead & check the postmark.
Response: I'm glad you liked it (I wanted to keep it myself :) I'll have to make more of these. They were pretty simple once I got the hang of it.
Response: I'm glad you like it :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it! It was a fun project to do :)
Response: I'm glad you like everything, I was hoping you would, based on your profile!
Response: I'm glad you like them, I thought from your profile that you would like the colors!
Response: Wow! I do not know where you are getting the mold smell. Everything I send seems to smell like mold to you, but I don't get these messages from others & IT DID take me time to make. This did not smell of mold when I sent it & the fabric I used DOES NOT smell of mold now. This is not the kind of message that should be posted publicly & is quite hostile, but since this is public, I will respond in kind. I'm sorry you did not like it. If we are getting personal here, your paintings do not seem to be 'time intensive' either, but I don't rate you based on whether I like them or not. This hostility needs to end, you have now made me cry on more than one occasion. Enough is enough
Response: I'm glad you like them! They don't grow around here usually, so when I saw them in California, I had to take a picture.
Response: I hope they make cleaning a little more fun :)
Response: I'm glad you like it! I've always wanted to visit your area of the world, too. Maybe, someday...
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. (I'm not a big okra fan, either, so it was easy to leave out)
Response: I get "Happy Birthday" wishes from Chuck Pahluniuk, though I'm sure it's auto generated. It's great when writers take the time to respond personally. I think the book you're asking about was House of Leaves by Danielewski, but my memory could be bad. For awhile, Borders (where I used to work) had it in the horror section, but it was later moved to Literature. I should take a look at it again sometime.
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it. It was a lot of fun to put together. I've use the pages from the cookbook to make other things, like bookmarks & cars, but wasn't sure what I'd use the dividers for...
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you could use it (I've had daughters run off with things that I've made for other swappers). It sounds like you've made lots of lovely things for these swaps!
Response: I'm glad you liked them! I wish I had more of the fabric left, but then, they wouldn't have been scraps...
Response: Thank you! They were fun to make :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked it :)
Response: Thank you, I'd forgotten how hard it was to get these to print out right. The printing's either not clear or the edges are cut oddly. Aaargh...next time!
Response: Thank you, she passed away this last October, from cancer. I still miss her a lot.
Response: I'm glad you liked everything! I'll check out your Flickr to see what you create :)
Response: Now I remember, the origami paper is palm tree/seashell print, as well as a circular bubble type print & not a traditional origami paper design, so that may be the paper you saw. There was the calendar page, which was floral & the dragon print was also from a vintage calendar I purchased long ago....At any, I can still send you some other things (maybe even a blues CD :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked it :)
Response: I hope you haven't read them before
Response: I'm glad you like it. It's something I've been experimenting with lately.
Response: I'm not sure what causes the lines, there's plenty of ink. It's maybe in the settings... I didn't like them either, at first, but they remind me of the first photos that come back from space, where you just get slices of the whole shot. It adds to the eerie, otherworldly feel that small towns, like Glencoe, can have, kind of the underside or equal & opposite feeling of comfort & times past.
(P.S.- Thanks for the sweet whale tale painting. It reminds me of the ocean)
Response: I'm glad everything got straightened out & that you like everything! Thank you for the rating :)
Response: I'm glad you liked them! The photos are all 'family' photos, though I don't know anything about the boat photo (Niagara Falls, maybe). The little girl is me, the plane was taken at an Air Force event (I think it says on the back what it is) & the tree was one of our Christmas Trees...
Response: I'm sorry that you could not see more. I experienced printer issues & the one print I got was very light. I had it printed at a shop & their printer pulled the copy through sideways. I did try to cut it, but if I had cut it all the way across, I would have lost some more of the actual zine. Oh well, it was my first try. Thanks for the 5.
Response: I'm glad you like them! I got the earnuts from a friend, who is a jeweler. I'll have to ask her where they came from. They are very helpful, aren't they?
Response: Thank you! I'm so glad :)
Response: Thank you! This was really fun to make, I've never made a sewing kit before.
